Crafted for fishermen battling the harsh, cold seas off the Irish coast, it was at the time made of rustic wool for insulation. Over time each clan developed their favorite designs - diamonds assured the wearer that wealth and fortune would follow, the honeycomb was a symbol of luck.
Here is the revisited version with small slits on each side, made of 95% ECO ecological cotton and 5% cashmere. The addition of cashmere warms this organic cotton with the 'ECO' designation to maximize the thermal effect between seasons, and give it a charming softness.
A meaningful addition to any wardrobe.
