There was once a time when leggings were strictly worn for utilitarian purposes. That’s no longer the case. Finally, they can be worn in -28°C conditions (or at +5°C! when those stems get a little chilly). They can also be worn just because! Why? They’re wickedly sexy, and can even express an attitude of “I know I’m hot.” This year, ça va de soi has created gorgeous legwarmers knitted in Super 160 merino, an extrafine, warm and super-soft carded wool. They can be worn mid-thigh, mid-calf or layered over tights on Montreal-wintery days. They come in black, Pearl or Sapphire, and Caviar, a subtle yet rich heathered shade.
